Croatian president rejects sending troops to Ukraine
Croatian President Zoran Milanović has firmly opposed sending the country's military forces to Ukraine.
"A Croatian soldier will not fight foreign wars. While I am the president of the republic, I will keep Croatia out of such conflicts," Milanović declared in a post on his Facebook page, Caliber.Az reports citing Russian media.
The Croatian leader emphasized that the country would not "without thought and by orders implement other people's decisions." He added that “Croatia will constantly question what is happening around us, but be honest and loyal and loyal to those with whom it signed the alliance.”
Earlier, Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada MP Oleksandr Dubinsky stated that the idea of deploying European peacekeepers to Ukraine is a failure, and suggested that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would be forced to lower the age for military mobilization.
Additionally, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, made it clear that Poland would not deploy its troops in Ukraine, even after a ceasefire.
