Czech embassy in Moscow defaced with offensive graffiti
Unknown individuals have vandalised the facade of the Czech Embassy in Moscow with offensive graffiti, prompting Prague to prepare a note of protest and demand compensation, Czech Foreign Ministry spokesman Daniel Drake said.
Photos released by the ministry show two large inscriptions in Czech, vulgar references to male and female genitalia, along with green paint sprayed from a bottle labeled with a derogatory anti-Czech message, Caliber.Az reports per foreign media.
Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský said that Ambassador Daniel Kostoval will personally deliver a note of protest to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He added that Prague will request information about those responsible and seek compensation for the property damage, emphasising that every state must ensure the protection of diplomats and the security of diplomatic missions, and that such an attack is unacceptable.
