Death toll from Russian strike on Kyiv rises to 12 PHOTO / UPDATED
The death toll from the Russian attack on Kyiv has risen to 12, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
He also announced that August 21 would be declared a day of mourning in the capital for those killed in the attack.

Six people were killed, and 33 others injured in an overnight Russian attack on Kyiv, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service announced.
Rescuers pulled two people from under the rubble and are continuing to deal with the aftermath of the overnight attack in the Sviatoshynskyi, Solomianskyi and Darnytskyi districts of the capital, Caliber.Az reports.
The aftermath of the attack has been recorded at more than 12 sites across three districts of the Ukrainian capital. Residential buildings, a medical facility and an educational institution were damaged, while fires also broke out at warehouse facilities.
