Deadly strikes hit Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, killing one woman PHOTO / VIDEO

Residential buildings, infrastructure facilities, and transport sites have been damaged in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region as a result of Russian attacks, with one fatality reported, regional governor Ivan Fedorov announced.

He said the strikes hit a parking area, an unnamed enterprise, and a public transport stop. Nearby residential buildings and a kiosk were also damaged. 

A 74-year-old female kiosk vendor was killed in the attack. Fires caused by the strikes were later extinguished.

The combined shelling also damaged five apartment buildings in the Khortytskyi and Voznesensky districts of Zaporizhzhia, with windows shattered and balconies, façades, and roofs damaged. A vocational education institution was also affected.
