Death toll from Russian strike on Kyiv rises to 30 PHOTO
The death toll from Russia's large-scale overnight attack on Kyiv has risen to 30, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service.
The attack took place during the night of July 2, when Russian forces launched a barrage of ballistic missiles and drones targeting the Ukrainian capital. Emergency crews have continued search and rescue operations at several strike sites, with the number of confirmed fatalities increasing as debris is cleared, Caliber.Az reports.
Kyiv authorities declared July 3 a day of mourning to honor those killed in what officials described as one of the most devastating attacks on the capital in recent months. The strikes caused extensive damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure across the city.
