Director-General: IAEA’s activity in Iran vital to dispel all suspicions

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director-General Rafael Grossi has said that it is very important to maintain contact with Tehran.

“The IAEA is currently conducting an inspection on Iranian territory. It is very important that we maintain a dialogue with Iran. I have always told my Iranian interlocutors about the importance of our meetings, I hope, at a very high level. I hope that this will be so,” he said, TASS reports.

He added that certain events that cause IAEA’s concern are observed in Iran. IAEA’s activity on Iranian territory is required to dispel all suspicions and prevent the situation from worsening.
