Doha: Iranian jets shot down after entering Qatari airspace
Majed al-Ansari, spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has stated that the Iranian aircraft shot down on March 2 had entered Qatar’s airspace and received a warning.
During the press conference, the spokesman stressed that Qatar had not been notified of incoming missile attacks by Iran, noting that Doha currently has no contact with Tehran, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
“The attacks are not limited to military facilities, but include the entire territory of the country. The attacks will not go unanswered. Qatar has proven that it cannot be threatened, and we remain fully prepared," al-Ansari said.
He added that Qatar’s interceptor missile inventory has not been depleted and that the country has enough to deal with the ongoing threat.
