Drone causes damage to private home in Lviv region overnight

Overnight on December 11, a drone struck a private home in the village of Sokolnyky, Lviv region, damaging several rooms. Fortunately, no one was injured.

RBC-Ukraine, citing the Lviv Regional Police’s Facebook page, reported that the strike damaged the house’s roof, façade, and multiple living spaces. Emergency services are on site, and authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

Prior to the attack, no official drone threat alerts had been issued in the region. The last air raid alert was issued on the night of December 7.

Earlier on the same night, Russian forces carried out missile and drone strikes on Kremenchuk, resulting in multiple explosions. Preliminary reports suggest the city was hit with ballistic weapons, with the Ukrainian Air Force previously warning of potential threats from the east.

It was later confirmed that Russian forces targeted energy facilities in the Kremenchuk district of the Poltava region overnight, causing fires from both direct hits and falling debris.

Meanwhile, in the Odesa region, drones attacked an energy facility, triggering several fires. Two nearby private houses were damaged, and the windows and doors of an administrative building were shattered.

In Kherson, Russian shelling ignited a residential building. Emergency crews quickly contained the fire, and no injuries were reported.
