Drone expert claims Russia targeting Ukraine-Poland rail infrastructure photo
Russia is seeking to disrupt the railway connection between Ukraine and Poland through a series of targeted attacks, according to drone warfare expert Serhii Beskrestnov, also known as “Flash.”
He said the strikes are systematic in nature and focused on the Kyiv–Kovel railway corridor. As reported by Politika Strany, Beskrestnov explained that two days ago, Shahed drones attacked a train and subsequently a railway repair crew. The following day, a railway bridge came under attack, and during the night, a locomotive depot was struck. He stressed that all of these incidents were directed at infrastructure along the same railway line.

Beskrestnov warned that further strikes on facilities along the Kyiv–Kovel route are likely and urged authorities to strengthen protection of key elements of the railway infrastructure.
Earlier reports indicated that in Korosten, a city located on the Kyiv–Kovel line, a freight train derailed, along with the locomotive of a passenger train.
