Drone strike destroys major ice cream manufacturer’s warehouse in Ukraine VIDEO

A drone strike completely destroyed a warehouse belonging to Ukrainian ice cream manufacturer Rud in the city of Zhytomyr, with the damaged area covering 4,350 square metres, the company said.

The warehouse stored finished products, loading equipment and other property, according to the company, Caliber.Az reports via Ukrainian media. 

Rud is Ukraine’s largest ice cream manufacturer, with a market share of about 30%. The company is also the country’s largest ice cream exporter, with its products sold in more than 36 countries through retailers including Lidl, Kaufland, REWE, Billa, Aldi, Tesco, Auchan, Carrefour and Metro.

In addition to ice cream, Rud produces frozen vegetables and berries, dough, baked goods, dairy products and prepared foods.
