Drone strike hits Kharkiv, injuring three, damaging civilian infrastructure VIDEO
Russian forces carried out a drone attack on the northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, injuring at least three people and damaging civilian infrastructure, local authorities said.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the attack involved unmanned aerial vehicles and resulted in destruction across parts of the city. Emergency services were deployed to assess the extent of the damage and assist those affected.
In a subsequent update, Terekhov said the city centre had also been struck. According to preliminary information, a combat drone hit an administrative building in the Shevchenkivskyi district, one of Kharkiv’s central areas.
Authorities are continuing to verify the full extent of the damage and verify whether additional casualties have occurred.
