Drone strikes hit hospital, residential areas in Chernihiv region, Ukraine PHOTO

Russian forces launched multiple attacks on Semenivka and nearby areas on January 2 using strike drones, according to the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.

The attacks involved Geran-type drones targeting the Semenivka City Hospital, destroying three service vehicles, garages, and farm buildings, and damaging another farm building. A fire broke out at the site but was quickly extinguished, Caliber.Az reports via the military administration's press service. 

Windows in a five-storey residential building were also damaged by a Molniya drone strike. In addition, a Geran drone hit a forestry site in the Koryukivka district, setting fire to a farm building, which was also put out.

Local authorities reported 27 shellings and about 50 explosions in the region during the day. No casualties among residents were reported.
