Easter ceasefire takes effect between Ukraine, Russia

Following a coordinated effort by both sides, an Easter ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia has taken effect from 4:00 p.m. local time on April 11 and lasting until the end of the day on April 12. 

The Russian Ministry of Defence has reportedly ordered its forces, including the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, to halt hostilities on all fronts during the period, ASTRA reports.

This will be the fourth ceasefire since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
