Egypt, Pakistan discuss new US-Iran talks

The foreign ministers of Egypt and Pakistan discussed efforts to launch a new round of talks between the United States and Iran during a phone call late Friday, April 24.

Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, spoke with his Pakistani counterpart, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, as part of ongoing diplomatic contacts.

According to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, the two diplomats addressed efforts aimed at initiating a new round of negotiations between the United States and Iran.
