Egypt pledges full support to Kuwait against Iranian threats

Egypt has reaffirmed its backing of Kuwait in the wake of recent Iranian attacks, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said during a telephone conversation with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, QNA reports.

Abdelatty emphasized Egypt’s unwavering support in countering any threats to Kuwait’s sovereignty. He strongly condemned the Iranian assaults, describing them as violations of Kuwait’s territorial integrity, international law, and principles of regional good neighborliness.

In response, Sheikh Al-Sabah outlined the security measures being implemented to deter further attacks and maintain domestic stability, highlighting Kuwait’s efforts to safeguard its citizens and institutions.
