Egypt, UK top diplomats advance agenda for closer cooperation
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held talks with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper during the third meeting of the Egypt–UK Association Council, according to a statement from Egypt’s foreign ministry on X.

Both sides reviewed ways to deepen political, economic, and investment cooperation, and exchanged views on key regional and international developments.
The discussions also focused on expanding bilateral engagement across priority sectors, with an emphasis on sustaining long-term cooperation frameworks between Cairo and London.
