EU foreign ministers to discuss Azerbaijani-Armenian normalisation
The EU Foreign Affairs Council, which will hold a meeting in Luxembourg on June 26, will discuss the process of Azerbaijani-Armenian normalisation.
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrel will inform the ministers about the activities of EU Council President Charles Michel to normalise relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Report informs, citing foreign media.
The head of the European Council will hold the next trilateral meeting with the leaders of these countries on July 21 in Brussels.
The discussion of the European ministers will, in particular, be devoted to the EU's military assistance to Ukraine. The ministers are also expected to focus on President Zelenskyy's "formula for peace".
"The EU firmly and fully supports Ukraine and will continue to provide strong political, economic, military, financial and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and its people for as long as necessary," the EU Council said.
The main agenda of the meeting also includes a discussion of relations between the European Union and Latin American and Caribbean states on the eve of the EU-Community of Latin American and Caribbean Countries (CELAC) summit scheduled for July 17-18.
