EU proposes sanctions on 80 Russian individuals, companies

The European Union has proposed adding 80 Russian individuals and companies to its sanctions blacklist, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas has stated.

Speaking after an informal meeting of EU defence ministers in Cyprus, Kallas said companies linked to the military sector, as well as Russian propagandists, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“We have proposed to add 80 companies linked to the military sector, as well as Russian propagandists, to the blacklist,” she said, calling for continued pressure on Russia.
