EU sanctions a US citizen for first time For supporting Russia online
EU foreign ministers have approved restrictive measures against 14 individuals and legal entities as part of sanctions imposed over Russia.
According to TASS, the European Union has added the following to its sanctions list:

Andrey Sushentsov, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations at MGIMO University.

Dmitry Suslov, Deputy Director of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies at the Higher School of Economics (HSE).

The International Russophile Movement.
The EU has also, for the first time, imposed sanctions on a US citizen—a former Florida sheriff’s deputy—for supporting Russia on social media.
In addition, sanctions were imposed on Ivan Timofeev, Director General of the Russian International Affairs Council and Program Director of the Valdai Discussion Club. Fyodor Lukyanov and Andrey Bystritsky were also included due to their ties to the Valdai Discussion Club.
The sanctions list further includes Russia’s 142nd Electronic Warfare Battalion, based in Kaliningrad.
Ukrainian journalist Diana Panchenko was also added to the list.
In addition, companies based in Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates were subjected to EU restrictive measures.
