Explosion rocks gas station in Ukraine's Mykolaiv, injuring seven officers PHOTO / VIDEO

An explosion of an unidentified device occurred at an inactive gas station in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, leaving seven law enforcement officers injured, according to the country’s National Police.
Patrol police officers were at the station to start their shift when the explosion occurred, Caliber.Az reports.
Preliminary investigations indicate that an explosive device detonated, with authorities currently working to determine its origin.
The injured officers sustained injuries of varying severity, with two in critical condition. Vehicles were also damaged in the blast.
An investigative-operational team, bomb disposal experts, and other specialised units are on site, providing necessary medical assistance to the injured.
