Fire erupts at pallet manufacturing facility in Turkish capital
A fire has broken out at a pallet manufacturing factory in the Sincan district of Ankara.
Fire crews, emergency medical teams, and police were dispatched to the scene, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.
After nearly two hours of efforts, firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
Note that, a major fire erupted on the evening of February 10 at a logging plant in Afyonkarahisar’s industrial zone, Türkiye, and has been raging for over 12 hours.
Around 60 firefighting units are on the scene attempting to control the blaze, though strong winds have hampered their efforts.
The fire has spread quickly across a large section of the facility, raising concerns that nearby factories, including plastic production plants, may also be at risk.
Local authorities have reported no casualties or injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, with faulty electrical wiring believed to be a potential factor.
