Flight from Israel makes unscheduled landing in Russia's Perm

A passenger aircraft flying from Tel Aviv to Zhukovsky Airport made an unscheduled landing in Perm on the morning of September 23.

The aircraft was sent for refuelling after landing, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

The aircraft reportedly was a Tu-214 operated by Red Wings.

After refuelling, it resumed its journey to its final destination, where it is expected to arrive late.

According to preliminary information, the aircraft may have diverted to an alternate airport due to flight restrictions introduced in several Volga Region areas that morning amid a drone threat.
