Four treaties on admission of Russia’s new territories signed

Russian President Vladimir Putin and the "heads" of the so-called "Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics" and Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions of Ukraine have signed treaties on the admission of these territories to the Russian Federation.

The ceremony was held on Friday in the St.George's Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace, TASS reports.

Before signing the documents, Putin made a speech about the admission of these territories to Russia.

A few days ago, "referendums" were held in the "DPR", "LPR" and Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions of Ukraine on becoming part of Russia, with residents supporting the decision by a majority vote.
