Armenia seeks to boost exports to Germany through new trade talks
Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan met with a Bundestag delegation led by Anton Hofreiter, chairman of the German parliament’s Committee on European Union Affairs, to discuss expanding bilateral economic ties.
The sides reviewed a broad range of issues on the Armenian-German bilateral agenda, including steps to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in areas outlined in the joint declaration “On a Strategic Agenda for the Bilateral Partnership,” signed by the prime minister of Armenia and the German federal chancellor, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
They emphasised the importance of increasing trade between the two countries, including the volume of agricultural exports from Armenia to Germany, as well as strengthening business ties.
