France condemns Russian airstrikes on Kyiv, which damaged Azerbaijan Embassy
The French Foreign Ministry has firmly condemned the recent massive Russian airstrikes against the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, which also damaged the Embassy of Azerbaijan.
“France strongly condemns the massive airstrikes carried out during the night of November 13-14 by the Russian Federation, primarily targeting the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, its energy facilities, residential areas, and a hospital, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries, including children. The Azerbaijani embassy was also hit,” the Ministry wrote on its website, per Caliber.Az.
The post reads that these large-scale strikes involved around 430 drones and 18 missiles.
The attacks constitute a further escalation and demonstrate Russia's unwillingness to engage in peace, the statement says.
“France expresses its full solidarity with Ukraine, its people and authorities, and with the staff of the Azerbaijani embassy. It reiterates its unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. It will continue its commitment, along with all its partners, to increase its support for Ukraine and strengthen pressure on Russia to end its war.”
