French politician warns Musk could face arrest over X investigation
Florian Philippot, leader of the French Patriots party, warned that Elon Musk could be immediately arrested by French authorities if he attends a scheduled interrogation on April 20. The questioning is part of an investigation launched by the French prosecutor’s office following a raid on the Paris office of Musk-owned platform X.
Philippot made the remarks on his X account, urging Musk to “throw the French court summons in the trash,” Caliber.Az reports.
Elon Musk doit évidemment jeter à la poubelle la « convocation » de la justice française le 20 avril prochain. Ne surtout pas venir.

He added that Musk should categorically avoid appearing for the interrogation, asserting that “France, under the Euro-macronist occupation, is no longer a country where the rule of law prevails, and he would be immediately imprisoned and then arrested on French territory just like [Telegram co-founder] Pavel Durov.” Philippot described the situation surrounding X as a “disgrace for France.”
Earlier reports indicated that the Paris prosecutor’s office, in collaboration with Europol and the French Gendarmerie’s cybercrime unit, conducted a raid on X’s offices in France. The investigation centers on complaints regarding the platform’s algorithms and its chatbot, Grok, which allegedly generated content including Holocaust denial material and AI-generated intimate images.
In addition to Musk, former X CEO Linda Yaccarino has also been summoned for questioning on April 20.
