Gaza officials record new 38 deaths within past day

New figures released by the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza point to at least 45,097 people having been killed in the 14 months since the beginning of the conflict. 

The revised death toll includes 38 deaths that occurred in the previous 24 hours in three different instances, Caliber.Az reported citing the Al-Arabiyya publication.     

Caliber.Az recalls, that while the figures published by the health authorities are being cited by Western governments and media outlets, Israel has repeatedly called the numbers “exaggerated” and unreliable as the ministry is controlled by the Hamas terrorist organization, who have orchestrated the October 7 attacks on Israel which plunged the region into months of fighting.
