Geneva conference decides to hold regular meetings to fight French colonialism
Leaders of political parties fighting for independence in French colonies, who participated in an international conference organized by the Baku Initiative Group at the UN office in Geneva, held a separate meeting and came to an agreement on a number of issues.
The organizations gathered within the framework of the international conference "Neocolonialism: Human Rights, Peace and Security," organizations from French Guiana (MDES), Martinique (MODEMAS and PALİMA), Corsica (Free Corsica), Guadeloupe (ANG, CİPPA, CİPN, FKNG, KSG, MIR Guadeloupe and UPLG), French Polynesia (self-named Ma'o Nuii) (TAVİNİ Huiraatiraa) and KANAKY (New Caledonia) (FLNKS, MJKF) fighting for independence exchanged views on the current political situation in their respective countries in order to strengthen the capacity to fulfil joint steps to achieve their political goals for full sovereignty, according to Report.
The parties decided to wage an organized struggle at the international, regional and national levels. The participants agreed to meet on a regular basis to consolidate joint activities for political solidarity.
The first meeting will set the political agenda.
