Georgia acquires fast rescue boats for Black Sea operations
Emergency Management Agency of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs has recently acquired six new fast rescue boats for operations along the Black Sea coast.
Tornike Rijvadze, Chairman of the Government of Adjara, along with Temur Mgebrishvili, head of Emergency Situations Management Service, Temur Mgebriashvili, the head of the Emergency Management Service, and Archil Chikovani, Mayor of Batumi, inspected the new boats, Caliber.Az reports citing Russian media.
Rijvadze emphasized the importance of these new vessels, noting their significant contribution to both successful tourist seasons and ensuring a safe environment for visitors.
The boats are designed for rescue missions both at sea and on rivers. They are equipped with advanced sonar scanning technology for effective underwater operations.
