German defence minister veils Nord Stream investigation details
German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has refused to announce details of the Nord Stream investigation.
Pistorius was asked to comment when he first heard the name of Roman Chervinsky, Col. of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, whom the US media accused of organising terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. In response, Pistorius could not say when the time would come for a detailed comment, TASS reports.
“I will not make statements until I have irrefutable arguments on this issue,” Pistorius said while answering the question about Nord Streams.
Earlier, the Kremlin commented on reports about Chervinsky’s involvement in the attacks on the Nord Stream pipelines.
Press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov said that those conducting the investigation must take this into account, make the results of their work public and name the perpetrators.
