German Foreign Minister: Ukraine will be able to strike Russian territory

Ukrainian forces will be able to “affect Russian territory,” German Deputy Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul told Die Zeit.

He did not specify what exactly this would involve or when the Ukrainian army might begin such actions.

“Undoubtedly, Ukraine has the right to defend itself against attacks. It will also have the capability to affect Russian territory, but we’re not going to disclose to Putin through your publication what weapons systems we are supplying to Ukraine,” Wadephul said.
