Hundreds of Russian strikes hit Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, three injured
Overnight attacks in Zaporizhzhia region hit settlements, damaging homes, vehicles, and infrastructure while injuring three people across Zaporizhzhia city and the Polohy district.
Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration head, Ivan Fedorov, wrote on Telegram that Russian forces carried out 676 attacks on 19 settlements in the region, Caliber.Az reports.
The assaults included 12 airstrikes, 407 drone attacks, mostly FPV drones, four strikes from multiple rocket launchers, and 253 artillery bombardments.
Authorities received 99 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure.
Russia’s sustained use of drones, missiles, and artillery continues to shape the conflict in Zaporizhzhia, with repeated attacks on civilian areas causing injuries, deaths, and widespread damage to homes and infrastructure.
These attacks are part of a broader campaign across Ukraine, where coordinated drone swarms and missile barrages have inflicted extensive civilian harm and infrastructure destruction since the full‑scale invasion began in February 2022.
