Israeli forces detain Knesset member for illegal Gaza entry
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) detained a group of Israeli citizens, including a Knesset member, who crossed into the Gaza Strip illegally, the IDF's press service announced on Telegram.
The individuals were monitored throughout the incident and were safely returned to Israel, where they were handed over to police for further investigation, according to Caliber.Az.
“The IDF strongly condemns the civilian crossings into the Gaza Strip, as they endanger the civilians and the IDF soldiers in the area,” the statement said.
Among those detained was Knesset member Limor Son Har-Melech, who previously posted on X about entering the Gaza Strip with the Nachala movement alongside families.
