IDF: Rockets fired from Lebanon toward Israel
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said that two rockets were launched from Lebanese territory toward Israel, one of which was intercepted, while the second fell in an open area.
IDF officials called this another violation of the ceasefire regime by the terrorist organisation Hezbollah, Caliber.Az reports, citing the IDF.
Earlier, the IDF declared, in a statement, that it destroyed missile launchers, weapons depots, and buildings used by Hezbollah to prepare what it described as terrorist operations in southern Lebanon.
The military reported that Hezbollah launched several explosive drones on Tuesday, April 28, that detonated near IDF units in southern Lebanon, south of the forward defensive line.
One soldier was lightly wounded and taken to the hospital; the family has been notified.
“The IDF will continue to operate against threats to the citizens of Israel and its forces, in accordance with the directives of the political leadership,” the statement said.
