IMF predicts GDP growth in Middle East, Central Asia

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has forecasted a 4.8 per cent growth in the Middle East and Central Asia region's gross domestic product (GDP) this year.
This figure is by one percentage point less than the actual figure for 2021, Report informs referring to the July issue of the IMF report "World Economic Outlook Update-2022".
The IMF has downgraded its economic growth forecast for the Middle East and Central Asia by 2.3 percentage points to 3.5 per cent in 2023.
