Inside Russia’s latest attack on Ukraine: What weapons were fired?
On the night of November 14, Russian forces launched a large-scale combined strike on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, employing strike drones and multiple types of missiles, according to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as reported by Ukrainian media.
"In total, the radio-technical troops of the Air Forces detected and tracked 449 aerial attack assets — 19 missiles and 430 drones of various types," the AFU stated.
The attacks included:

430 strike drones of the Shahed type and other unmanned aerial vehicles, targeting areas from Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Hvardiyske in temporarily occupied Crimea;

3 Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles launched from the Ryazan region of Russia;
-
1 anti-ship missile “Zircon”;
-
6 cruise missiles “Iskander-K”/“Kalibr”;
-
9 ballistic missiles “Iskander-M”/KN-23.
The primary target of the strike was Kyiv, while Kyiv region, Kharkiv region, Odessa, Poltava, and Cherkasy regions also suffered damage.
Ukraine’s air defences, including aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire teams of the Defence Forces, worked to repel the attacks.
Preliminary reports as of 09:30 indicate that 419 aerial targets were neutralised:

405 drones of the Shahed type and other UAVs;

2 Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles;

6 ballistic missiles “Iskander-M”/KN-23;

6 cruise missiles “Iskander-K”/“Kalibr”.
Despite these defences, missile strikes and 23 drones successfully hit 13 locations, while debris from shot-down targets fell across 44 locations.
