International travellers’ delegation visits Azerbaijan's liberated Fuzuli city PHOTO
A delegation of international travellers led by Harry Mitsidis, the founder and head of the NomadMania club and a British citizen of Greek origin, visited the city of Fuzuli.
The visitors toured areas that were destroyed during the occupation. They also familiarised themselves with the reconstruction and development work being carried out by the Azerbaijani state in liberated Fuzuli, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The trip of international travellers to the liberated territories has now come to an end.
The group consists of 79 people from 37 countries. This is the largest group of international travellers to have visited Karabakh and East Zangezur to date.
NomadMania divides the world into 1,301 regions and ranks travellers accordingly. H. Mitsidis has visited all of these regions and currently holds first place in the global ranking. Notably, the annual NomadMania meeting was held in Azerbaijan for the first time.
This trip is of particular importance in terms of promoting the liberated territories within the framework of so-called “black tourism,” as well as showcasing the large-scale reconstruction and restoration efforts underway in the region.
Between 2020 and 2025, a total of 15 trips to Karabakh and East Zangezur were organised through leading global travel clubs. The current visit marks the sixteenth such trip.
