Iran names US tech company offices as “new targets”
Tasnim News Agency, a media outlet affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has published a list of offices and infrastructure belonging to major American technology companies that it said could be considered “new targets” for Iran.
According to Al Jazeera, the list includes facilities belonging to several leading US firms whose technologies are allegedly used for military purposes and are connected to Israel.
“As the regional war evolves into a war over infrastructure, the list of Iran’s legitimate targets is also expanding,” the statement said.
Among the companies mentioned are Google, Microsoft, Palantir Technologies, IBM, Nvidia and Oracle.
The offices and cloud-service infrastructure cited in the report are located in several cities across Israel, as well as in a number of countries in the Persian Gulf region.
