Iran has supplied Russia with short-range ballistic missiles, the Fath-360, which pose a threat to cities near the front lines in Ukraine, the UK Ministry of Defence's recent report notes.
The Fath-360, publicly unveiled for the first time in 2020 and also known as the BM-120, can deliver a 150-kilogram warhead up to 120 km with a claimed accuracy of less than 30 meters, Caliber.Az quotes the ministry's post on X.

It can be deployed on various road-mobile launch systems, including one capable of firing up to six missiles.
British intelligence indicates that until now, Iranian military assistance to Russia in the war against Ukraine has included the supply of hundreds of suicide drones, artillery ammunition, and extensive support for the production of Russian drones. The supply of ballistic missiles represents a further deepening of military ties between Iran and Russia.
"Iranian ballistic missile supplies will complement and enhance Russia’s ability to conduct precision strikes on Ukrainian military targets or civilian infrastructure near the front line, as well as allow Russia to retain a significant portion of its long-range capabilities for use against targets deep within Ukraine," Defence Ministry notes.
