Iranian general says war aims to force enemy into “remorse”
Iran’s Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia said the objective of the ongoing conflict is to compel the enemy into “genuine remorse,” asserting that Iran remains resilient and continues its counter-operations.
The general stated that at this stage of the war, the enemy has not achieved its goals, and the Islamic Republic of Iran stands firm, responding to threats and conducting retaliatory operations, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.
Akraminia said he is confident the adversary has failed at this stage of the war.
“The goal of continuing the war is to bring the enemy to real remorse. This may seem like an emotional step, but in fact, it is strategically rational,” he added.
The Iranian military official noted that “achieving this goal will prevent the recurrence of war in the future by strengthening deterrence, so that the enemy does not dare to take further action against the country.”
