Iranian lawmaker: "Trump is a liar"
An Iranian parliamentary spokesman called US President Donald Trump a liar, rejecting Washington’s portrayal of recent talks with Tehran and insisting that Iran has not retreated from its core positions.
Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesman for the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said Iran’s red lines remain unchanged and that the country would not compromise on what he described as the Iranian nation’s rights, Caliber.Az reports.
ترامپ دروغگوست. ج.

He argued that the United States, having failed to achieve its objectives through military, economic, or other forms of pressure, now has no option but to accept Iran’s established frameworks.
The remarks came after Trump said the United States had held “very good talks” with Iran following indirect discussions between the two sides in Oman on February 6. Trump said further meetings were planned for early next week and suggested Iran was eager to reach an agreement, warning of “very steep” consequences if no deal were reached.
The talks involved Iran’s deputy foreign minister Abbas Araghchi and US envoy Steve Witkoff, with Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner also participating. Discussions were conducted indirectly and mediated by Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi, who met separately with each delegation.
Araghchi told his US counterparts that Iran would not agree to end enrichment or move its nuclear activities offshore.
The US has demanded that Iran stop uranium enrichment, curb its ballistic missile programme, and end support for regional militias. Iran has indicated it is willing to discuss only its nuclear activities, suggesting that its missile programme and regional alliances could be negotiated solely with neighbouring countries.
