Israel launches new phase of military operation in Gaza VIDEO

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have officially announced the commencement of a new phase in their ongoing military campaign in the Gaza Strip, codenamed " “Gideon's Chariots 2." This intensified phase aims to seize control of Gaza City and systematically dismantle militant forces and military infrastructure concentrated in the northern Gaza region.

In an official statement released by the IDF’s spokesperson, the operation has thus far engaged units from the 98th and 162nd Divisions. The military has confirmed that the 36th and 99th Divisions are poised to join the operation in the near future, signaling a significant escalation in troop deployment and operational scope, Caliber.Az reports.

The IDF also announced plans for an additional call-up of reservists in the coming days to bolster their ranks. This follows an earlier mobilization of approximately 70,000 reservists, underscoring the scale and gravity of the ongoing conflict.
