Israel to hold large-scale military drills along Lebanon border

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced that it will hold extensive military exercises along the border with Lebanon.

The drills will last five days and span the border areas, including Israeli settlements, The Times of Israel reports, citing the IDF.

The exercises will focus on defence scenarios and responses to potential threats. They are set to begin on the evening of October 19 and conclude on Thursday.

The IDF has warned of possible explosions and increased activity of drones, aircraft, and naval vessels in the coastal zone.
