Israeli airspace reopens for incoming flights
Israeli skies reopened to incoming flights on June 24 following a brief closure triggered by a barrage of Iranian ballistic missile strikes, the Israel Airports Authority confirmed.
The reopening of airspace comes moments after US President Donald Trump announced that a ceasefire between Iran and Israel had officially come into effect, Caliber.Az quotes Israeli media.
Iranian state television also reported that a truce was now in place. However, Israeli officials have yet to issue any public confirmation of the agreement.
Tensions remain high in Israel after at least four people were killed earlier on June 24 when an Iranian ballistic missile struck a residential building in Beersheba. The attack occurred shortly before the reported start of the ceasefire.
