Israeli firm delays “stolen” Ukrainian grain delivery
30 April 2026 11:22
A wheat importer in Israel has decided to suspend the unloading of what has been described as “stolen” Ukrainian grain amid rising diplomatic tensions with Ukraine.
According to Channel 12, the decision was influenced by concerns among Israeli companies about the risk of falling under sanctions from the European Union if they continue cooperation with Russian suppliers.
The report notes that the Israeli government has not yet provided clear guidance or protective mechanisms for businesses facing potential exposure to such sanctions.
