Israeli naval special forces conduct operation near Gaza Strip Real battle footage
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has said that Shayetet 13 commandos overnight carried out a targeted raid from the sea in the southern Gaza Strip, destroying Hamas terrorist infrastructure used by the organisation’s naval commando force.
Shayetet 13 is a specialised division within the Israeli Navy. This unit is primarily focused on executing missions involving countering acts of terrorism, gathering maritime intelligence, and rescuing hostages at sea, Caliber.Az reports citing IDF's press service.
The operation also involved the participation of additional naval and aerial troops. The forces exited the area upon completing the mission, the army said.
Meanwhile, more than 7,300 people have been killed as a result of the IDF strikes on the Gaza Strip since October 7.
Some 18,900 people were wounded, Gaza’s Health Ministry said.
“The number of victims of Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip has reached 7,326, including 3,038 children, 1,726 women and 414 elderly people, 18,967 citizens were wounded since October 7,” Gaza’s Health Ministry said.
