China urges citizens to flee Israel amid escalating conflict with Iran
The Chinese embassy in Israel has issued an urgent advisory calling on Chinese nationals to leave the country "as soon as possible", citing a rapidly deteriorating security situation due to the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict.
"At present, the Israel-Iran conflict continues to escalate, with civilian facilities damaged and civilian casualties increasing, making the security situation even more severe," the embassy said, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
With Israeli airspace reportedly still closed, the embassy recommended that citizens depart by land, specifically through the border crossing into Jordan.
On June 13, the military operation launched by Israel against key components of Iran’s nuclear and military infrastructure escalated to a much more intense level. The objective remains the complete elimination of the Islamic Republic’s capability to develop nuclear weapons.
According to the latest data, the Israeli Air Force has struck more than a hundred targets, deploying approximately 200 combat aircraft and over 330 precision-guided munitions, according to official figures. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) emphasises that this is a large-scale, coordinated operation targeting both military facilities and the nuclear programme infrastructure across the entire territory of Iran.
