Israeli intel chief: Iran’s defences breached, leadership now in crosshairs
Israel’s top intelligence official has declared that the country's forces have successfully pierced Iran’s defensive shield, setting the stage for a direct strike on its senior military leadership.
According to The Jerusalem Post, Major General Shlomi Binder, head of Israel’s Military Intelligence Directorate, addressed his team on June 17 with a striking announcement: intelligence operatives had “broken through” Iran’s defences, effectively clearing the way for future operations targeting Tehran’s most high-ranking military figures.
Binder emphasised that Israeli intelligence efforts were far from over. He said work was already underway to identify and prepare for strikes against even more sensitive Iranian assets in the near future.
