Ukraine moves to remove Russian influence from its laws

Ukraine’s parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, has adopted a resolution aimed at eliminating the legacy of Soviet-era Russification in Ukrainian legislation.

According to the Rada’s press service, the resolution focuses on improving the linguistic quality of laws, expanding Ukrainian-language content, countering pro-Russian narratives, and aligning legal terminology with European Union standards, Caliber.Az reports.
