Israeli, US, Syrian officials to meet in Paris to eye security issues

Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer will meet with US envoy Tom Barrack and Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani in Paris on July 24 to discuss security issues related to southern Syria, according to sources cited by The Jerusalem Post.

The talks come amid heightened tensions following recent clashes between Druze and Bedouin tribes in Suwayda, southern Syria, Caliber.Az cites the article.

In addition to regional security, Dermer is set to address the forthcoming Iranian nuclear negotiations with European officials. The talks between European countries and Iran are scheduled for July 25 in Istanbul.
